Issues affecting the Global Internet – various sites & apps

According to the latest live coverage from the BBC News, a major infrastructure outage is impacting millions of users around the world.
Some of the key points:
• Many of the world’s biggest apps and platforms are down or experiencing issues, including social apps and essential services.
• Some major banks and financial systems are also affected in various regions.
• The outage appears to be linked to infrastructure level — meaning it’s not just one app, but a broader backbone problem.

What you should do:
✅ Stay calm — most services will be back once the root issue is resolved.
✅ Check official status websites or service apps (on desktop if mobile is impacted).
✅ If you rely on any service for work or payments today, consider a backup plan.
✅ Let friends/family know if they’re stuck — this might not be just their device.

We’ll keep an eye on updates and post again if there’s a major new development. Stay safe online!
