If they cancel within thirty days you won’t receive a reward, but you can still refer others.

“Gigabit IQ”, “we”, “our”, “us” – Gigabit IQ Ltd., a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 15772487) whose registered office is 1 London Road, Hindhead, GU26 6AB.
“Referrer” – an existing residential Gigabit IQ broadband customer who shares a valid referral link.
“Referred Customer” – a person who is not, and has not been for the last 12 months, a Gigabit IQ customer and who activates a qualifying broadband service using a Referrer’s link.
“Qualifying Broadband Service” – any residential fibre package listed on gigabitiq.com that is installed and remains active for at least 30 consecutive days.
“Reward” – either (a) one month’s broadband service credit; or (b) a three-month subscription credit for FamilyGuard+ or CyberGuard, as elected by the Referrer.
2.1 The Referrer must:
a) hold an active residential Gigabit IQ broadband account in good standing;
b) be aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom;
c) have no outstanding balance or breach of contract with us.
2.2 The Referred Customer must:
a) order a Qualifying Broadband Service through the unique referral link;
b) complete installation within 90 days of placing the order;
c) keep the service active and in good standing for a minimum of 30 days.
2.3 Business, charity, or wholesale accounts are excluded unless explicitly approved in writing.
3.1 The Referrer obtains a unique referral URL via the Gigabit IQ Customer Portal.
3.2 The Referrer shares the link by any lawful means.
3.3 When the Referred Customer signs up through that link and the Qualifying Broadband Service remains active for 30 days, both parties become eligible for a Reward.
3.4 Rewards are applied automatically to the respective Gigabit IQ accounts within 60 days of the Referred Customer meeting the 30-day active requirement.
4.1 Broadband Credit – one calendar month of broadband service at no charge; applies to the service fee only and excludes router deposits, installation costs, add-ons, or other charges.
4.2 FamilyGuard+ / CyberGuard Credit – three consecutive months of the selected service at no charge; thereafter the subscription reverts to the then-current standard price unless cancelled.
4.3 The Referrer may choose which Reward to receive at the time each credit is issued via the Customer Portal. If no choice is made, broadband credit is applied by default.
4.4 Up to twelve months of broadband credit (or equivalent value in security credits) may be earned per Referrer within any calendar year. Further successful referrals in the same year will not generate additional credit.
4.5 Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be exchanged, sold, or refunded.
5.1 There is no limit to the number of people a Referrer may refer.
5.2 We reserve the right to withhold or revoke Rewards if we reasonably believe:
a) the programme is being used for commercial lead generation, bulk messaging, or paid advertising;
b) the Referrer or Referred Customer has provided false information or otherwise breached these Terms;
c) the referrals show signs of fraud, abuse, or gaming of the system.
5.3 Any decision by Gigabit IQ under this clause is final.
6.1 If the Referred Customer cancels or downgrades their broadband package within the initial 30-day qualifying period, no Reward will be issued.
6.2 If either party terminates their Gigabit IQ service after a Reward is applied, unapplied credits are forfeited and will not be paid out in cash or kind.
6.3 Moving home: credits may be transferred to a new address within the Gigabit IQ network area, subject to standard reconnection terms.
7.1 By participating, you consent to our processing of your personal data to administer the programme in accordance with the Gigabit IQ Privacy Notice.
7.2 We will not disclose Referrer details to Referred Customers or vice-versa, except where required by law.
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
8.2 Subject to 8.1, Gigabit IQ is not liable for:
a) loss of income, business, or profits;
b) indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the programme.
8.3 Our total liability to any participant shall not exceed the value of the highest single Reward available under these Terms.
9.1 We may amend or withdraw the programme, or these Terms, at any time by giving 30 days’ notice on gigabitiq.com.
9.2 Referrals made prior to the effective date of any change will be honoured under the Terms in force at the time of referral.
9.3 Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
